Jed Hoyer is introduced as the new top guy for the Cubs, and after some wedding vow-type rememberances of Theo, talks a little baseball. He says they aren’t working on extensions, and are looking more towards the future, as Tom Ricketts claimes the hundreds of millions saved by Wrigley being named a historic landmark will NOT help the baseball budget. Just like the Marquee Network doesn’t help the budget, and the real estate around Wrigley that the Ricketts own will not help the budget. FUN!
