So, the Cubs are back to scoring zero or one run basically every other game. We crunched the numbers, and it turns out, that's bad. With a .5 game lead with 5 to go, and the Brewers on fire and closing against an awful Detroit team, the wild card -- for the first time in a long time -- seems almost likely. Ugh. Speaking...

Well, right before we started recording, we heard Brandon Morrow is done for the year. Of course. We do a deep dive on what that means for the bullpen - specifically the 9th inning - and the roster as we look toward the playoffs (hopefully). Oh, and Kris Bryant's oppo power has been welcomed back to the team, thank God....
